Especially selective, challenging bike route – along the steep forest road to Werbutzalm
Suggestion
  • Open to MTB riders unless otherwise stated during the following periods:
    • May 1 - August 31, from 9 am to 7 pm and September 1 - October 31, from 9 am to 5 pm
  • The tour can also be done with an e-MTB.
Equipment
  • Helmet mandatory!!!!!!!
  • Proper clothing: Adjust your clothing not only to the current weather conditions. Also pack warm clothing, a spare jersey, and rain protection, especially in summer but even more so in early and late season.
  • Emergency equipment: first aid kit, repair kit (spare tube, pump, tools), map, mobile phone, and possibly GPS
  • ATTENTION: In the mountains, reception is not guaranteed everywhere!
  • Take enough to drink with you and plan a stop in good time

Arrival by car:

Via the B111 (Gailtal Road) to St. Stefan im Gailtal (located between Hermagor and Nötsch) - from here continue via the L27 to Vorderberg.
