In the heart of the Carnic Alps surrounded by the highest mountain tops lies the Wolayerseehütte at lake Wolayersee.

You can reach us in about 2,5 - 3 hours from the “Hubertuskapelle” in Wolayertal valley or in about 3,5 hours from mountain pasture “Valentinalm” at the Plöckenpass. We offer accommodation for 61 people, 17 beds and 44 places in communal bunks. Besides our regional food offer you can enjoy home-made apple strudel with a cup of coffee and the great mountains around lake Wolayersee. We are not only an important point of the Carnic High Path and popular destination but also location for climbing courses of all levels. There are two climbing walls and some fixed rope routes from level 4 to level 8. Furthermore you’ll find two climbing paths and a Geotrail round the lake.
