Tours St. Lorenzen
Circular hike Frohn - Sterzen
Walk duration there and back about 4 hours = 9 points
Starting point is St. Lorenzen, main road via Wiesen to Frohn or from St. Lorenzen along the footpath “Frohnsteg” across Gail River to the “Luggerkreuz”. The hiking trail branches off to southwest at Luggerkreuz below Frohn and leads up along a farm track until it reaches the farmhouse Lexerbauer. Turn right and walk along the narrow but shorter path to Oberfrohn (control stamp at the small church). There you can choose between two possibilities: the trail passing above the houses (after a slight ascent of about 500 m to Frohnerhügel) along the road into the forest down to Sterzen or the westward trail from the small church to Sterzen (about 20 minutes). From Sterzen walk eastward along the footpath to the bridge, on to Wiesen and St. Lorenzen. A particularly beautiful walk from the small church “Frohnkirchl” leads across Tannwiese. The way is marked and it branches off to the right about 1.5 km after the bridge.
