Mountain Pasture Obergailer Alm

Walk duration there and back about 5 hours = 10 points

Park your car at the tavern “Mühlenstüberl” or at the turnoff following the forest trail to mountain pasture Steineckenalm. We follow the forest trail (the way starts to ascend). After several hundred metres we get to the fairytale camp in the first double bend, then in the second double bend there is a statue of Virgin Mary in the rock. Later on there is the turnoff to the cascade “Bruggenwasserfall”. We follow the way and walk past alpine lodges until we reach the fork of the brook. There we’ll find several signposts. We take the way to the right towards mount Raudenscharte and mount Raudenspitze. After a short hike we reach the signpost to the refuge “Enderberghütte” - the destination of our hike. The control stamp is at the refuge. Take the opportunity to refresh yourself and walk up to lake Hundstrichsee situated near the forest trail (watch the signposts).
