Mount Riebenkofel

Walk duration there and back about 7 hours = 14 points

We go to Tscheltsch by car. Then we walk along the road for several hundred metres towards north-east until we come to the turnoff to mount Riebenkofel (to the left – footpath is well-marked). Following a quite shady mountain trail we get to the so called “Bruch” where we leave the forest line. We walk past old hay huts and in the middle of mountain pastures framed by alpine flora we reach the quite steep ascent to the first ridge of Riebenkofel mountain. We hike towards north-west along the ridge to mount Riebenkofel. The control stamp is at the summit cross.
