Raudenscharte (Schönjöchl) 2295 m

High alpine and not too difficult ski tour for experienced ski tourers with good avalanche judgement; only during secure snow conditions. Ascend from Obergail 3-4 hours; altitude difference 1100 m. From Obergail along the forestry road in a southward direction to Obergailertal valley and mountain pasture Obergaileralm (1426 m). You may continue along the forestry road or along the western slope into the valley to refuge Enderberghütte (1660 m). Across the cirque and up to Raudenscharte (2295 m). Descent by way of ascent.
